And so another year endeth, with the traditional countdown courtesy of time.gov and Auld Lang Syne at ready on midi (watching the ball drop at Times Square is like so 1900s). The champage cork hit the ceiling fan and gave us an unexpected shower of confetti-like dust to add to the festivities.

And of course nobody beats me at loserdom! At home alone (not even my own home..) with only the company of ice cream. They're not even tubs either, just those small pints you usually see being eaten by sad single females in the movies. Aint it grand when friends flake? As my friend cheerfully put it, I'm a living cliche'. ;P Happy something or other to you too.
