Another half-baked entry

I don't subscribe to this point of view
It's such an ignorant thing to do
If the Russians love their children too.
The song always faintly annoyed me. I always figured my dislike was due to its cheesy "Save tha childrun!" schtick and never thought much more about it, but today it came randomly to mind while I was in my meditation chamber. Granted, the Iron Curtain was still up back then and relatively little was really known about the Russian people, but the whole sentiment expressed is a great confusion between views expressed and enacted by politicians, and the views held by citizens. Sting committed the same error against the Russians as anyone who currently judges the American (or any other) people by their leaders, current or otherwise.
At that point I flushed and this train of thought ended.
